Each of us is unique in our particular way due to several factors. Some people have exceptional physical characteristics, while others have extraordinary qualities in their personalities. Both-of-these qualities can be found in some people. Not only does this hold for people, but it also holds for animals. Birthmarks are identifying marks present at birth and can be used to identify a person rapidly.

Enzo, the golden retriever, was born with a highly peculiar birthmark, which sets him apart from other golden retrievers. This is what distinguishes him from other golden retrievers. When Enzo was two years old, he was fortunate enough to find the house that would be his for the rest of his life. One more quality that comes to mind to describe him is his friendliness. Because of his unusual genetic abnormality, he stands out from the other canines and is more noticeable than the others.

Because of the mutation in his gene, he has a large dark spot in the area close to his left eye. Although golden retrievers of purebred origin typically have a single golden coat, this particular dog was born with a birthmark covering his face’s left side. There is no question that this birthmark contributes to his overall attractiveness. The majority of golden retrievers are born with black coats. The golden hue originates from a gene in their bodies that acts as a modifier.

The gene in question is present in virtually all golden retrievers. However, Enzo’s DNA contained a minor error, which resulted in the loss of the modifier gene on the left side of his face. This uncommon illness is referred to by its technical name, pigmented somatic cell mutation. Despite this, Enzo is well-known worldwide due to the birthmark he was born with. Because he has more than one hundred thousand thousand followers on Instagram, he is considered a renowned person. Even though Enzo is one of a kind, he continues to live his life as if he were just another golden retriever.
