A unique connection exists between people and animals, and the Russian photographer Anastasiya Dobrovolskaya is one of the few people who can capture this connection as beautifully as she does. The photographer creates photographs that look like scenes from a fairytale, with people posing with animals, and the results of her work are enchanting.

Anastasiya mentioned that people and animals serve as sources of motivation for her recent interview with Bored Panda. She claims that the primary objective of her work is to highlight both the exterior and the internal beauty as well as the originality of the subject of her photographs. “The primary way I attempt to do this is by contrasting their outward look. “For instance, I like to picture humans with albinism alongside white animals, redheads among animals with red fur, and so on,” the photographer explained. “I also like to photograph redheads beside animals with brown fur.”

Anastasiya believes that one of the most satisfying aspects of working with animals is how they can infuse one’s life with something that is both compassionate and genuine. “Everything they do and every feeling they have is authentic. The photographer added, “Before I started taking images with animals, I had no clue that there could be such a tight relationship between humans and animals.” “It is still astonishing that ‘wild’ creatures can express such intense affection and confidence in humans.”

Concerns over the animals’ welfare were raised by some. Still, Anastasiya assured them that only animals with a particular personality trait were chosen for the photoshoots, and those animals were entirely at ease with the experience. “Many individuals who view my artwork believe that the animals are high on drugs or have had their teeth removed, among other things. And I am aware that these ideas develop for a particular purpose. However, when people adopt animals, they frequently end up being a part of their families and everyday lives, as the photographer explained. “Nearly all the world’s largest animals spend their lives in the countryside, in expansive areas, uniquely designed enclosures, and feature regular wandering. Each species of animal has a specific diet that it follows. For instance, owls consume mice, tigers consume raw meat, and Stepan, the bear, is particularly fond of condensed milk. She also mentioned that in most cases, the animals are saved from horrible conditions, fur factories, or were simply abandoned by their owners. This indicates that the animals were born in captivity and could not survive in the wild on their own.
